Best Gym Class EVER!

Every student at Eastern is required to take a gym class. I'm not exactly a sports kind of person so I decided to take fencing. The picture above that I did not ask anyone if I could show is of the girls in my class. We learned two kinds of fencing, European and Japanese Kendo. Basically, if you give me a stick I can beat you up. Welcome to Christian school.

Let's Rock This Campus!

Congrats to Hannah, Kaite, Elizabeth, Mike, and all the other people that made it into the student chaplain program! I'm so excited for you and I know that we'll rock this campus for God in the 2010-11 school year. Every one who applied for student chaplain had to answer six scary essay question and go through a group interview. Yesterday everyone found out who made it via campus mail. Kaite and Mike are being so humble about it and not telling anyone that it is such an inspiration... to tell everyone for them. :-)

They must have sodexo stomach

Eastern has a really big rock that different clubs like to paint for special events. The rock is painted white before the club comes and then they have free range of the rock to decorate as they please. I guess plant ops left it white for a little too long because someone went and painted this on the rock. I guess it's an ad for the nurse's office.
