- The solid friends I made that first week of school are still my friends, for which I am forever grateful.
- I never got the guy that I was crazy about from the summer after freshman year on, and I'm still trying to be ok with that. We don't talk anymore and I miss him often, but self care is always more important than the opinions of others.
- My only regret in college is that I didn't take more pictures at graduation, and that's pretty great.
- Even though I'm surrounded by people who tell me that I'm too fat to be pretty, I was on homecoming court.
- I owe my professors and some of the staff at Eastern more than I can ever repay them for the life I have now.
- Don't be afraid to shave your head, it grows back.
- Do something to be proud of.
- Don't be afraid to talk to someone who's different from you. They might just safe your relationship with Christ and become your best friend.
- If you're the kind of person that takes a lot of photos, put the camera down, and enjoy the moment.
- It's never ok to hate someone because they're different from you.
- Write things down, you'll thank yourself later.
Before attending Eastern University I had an idea of what Christian school would be like. Girls would wear turtle necks and everyone would be carrying Bibles. It took me a very long... five seconds to find out that I was very wrong. This is my life.

The End of an Era
Well I never wrote in this faithfully after the college writing course that this blog was created for, but it time to say goodbye. I did finally graduate after dropping out for a semester and then finishing up after my 9th semester (it's complicated) and I'm no longer in Christian school. Here are some closing thoughts.
